Authentipix is a Shopify app that allows you to create custom galleries of your customers tagged Instagram posts and integrate those galleries into your Shopify store.
It's a great marketing tool, effectively grants your customers a personal way to interact with your Shopify store and naturally promotes your brand through user-generated content.
Project Goal
Authentipix has been in need of an update for quite some time. After doing a competitive analysis of similar Shopify apps, it was concluded that expanding its features to include tagging images with related products was needed for Authentipix to maintain it's competitive edge within the Shopify app store.
After some user testing was reviewed, a refresh of the UI was also needed in order to reduce the number of screens within the app and make features more easily discoverable.

Campaign Landing Screen
The campaign screen shows a feed of all incoming images being pulled in from Instagram. One major improvement to this screen was making the campaign settings (Image order, Hashtags, Instagram accounts) more discoverable by showing them in the top right. In the previous version of the app, these settings were shown on a separate screen. Users both had trouble finding these settings and making the connection in their minds as to how they related to their current campaign.

Product Tagging
Store owners add product URLs to link the images to their respective product pages. In some cases, images may not feature products, this required having the "add to cart" button an element that can be turned on or off as needed.
Below is the preview of how the image modal will appear on their Shopify page. The image description is be pulled from Instagram. When a tag is clicked, its respective product is highlighted on the right side.
Gallery Builder
The gallery builder is a feature in the current Authentipix app. Previously, the ability to set your gallery type (an image carousel, image grid or single image) was set on an earlier screen, causing some frustration during user testing. Here the gallery type is combined with the other gallery settings on the right sidebar, making it much more easily accessible.
